RackWeek Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 9, 2026

Updated: October 9, 2026

Support: splits@rackweek.app

1. Product scope and data posture

RackWeek is an iOS app in the Health & Fitness category that keeps one lifting week on the board. You choose a ModeCard (for example PPL, Upper / Lower, 3-on-1-off, or 4-day) or ask for this week's split, review the SplitCard, pin it, and then check in or stamp each session on Today. RackWeek does not create a RackWeek account and does not sync your training board to a RackWeek cloud account. Your TrainingWeek, ModeCard, BodyNotes, SplitCard, SessionCheckIn, and TrainOutcome records are stored on your device.

2. Information you create

While you use RackWeek, your device may hold:

  • Body profile basics you enter, such as height, weight, goal, and training days per week.
  • The current week's days, chosen ModeCard, body notes, and the pinned SplitCard.
  • Session check-ins (duration and status) and outcome notes about what to change next week.
  • Optional photos of a lift, rack, or gym setup that you attach in the coach composer.
  • Text transcribed from your voice while the Talk control is active. Raw audio is not stored or uploaded as an audio file.
  • Local settings and in-app interaction state needed to run the board and reminders.

Deleting RackWeek removes this on-device data. We cannot restore it from a RackWeek server.

3. Device permissions, photos, and media

RackWeek asks for a permission only when a control needs it:

  • Camera — to photograph a lift, rack, or gym setup for the coach.
  • Photo Library — to choose an existing photo for the same purpose.
  • Microphone — to capture spoken workout notes while Talk is active.
  • Speech Recognition — Apple's Speech framework converts your spoken note into editable text. Depending on your device, Apple may process this on the device or on Apple's servers.
  • Notifications — to schedule local check-in reminders on your device. RackWeek does not use a remote push service for these reminders.

You can decline any of these and still plan your week by typing. You can change permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

4. Purchases and Apple services

Planning, pinning a SplitCard, and checking in do not require payment. The released app may offer optional digital coin purchases. Any such purchase is processed by Apple through your App Store account. We do not receive your full payment card details; we receive transaction information needed to deliver the coins and confirm the order.

5. Tracking, analytics, advertising, and AI

RackWeek does not display third-party advertisements. The released app may use Adjust, a mobile measurement provider, to measure app installs, sessions, and in-app purchase or order events. For this purpose Adjust may receive a device identifier generated for the app (such as the Adjust device ID), basic device and app version information, IP address, and purchase amount, currency, and order reference. If iOS asks whether RackWeek may track you and you choose not to allow it, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not shared.

The optional week.look and Ask the coach features use DeepSeek, an AI model provider, and only after you accept an in-app consent card for that feature. Choosing "Not now" keeps the board entirely on your device. When you allow a turn, RackWeek sends only what that turn needs, such as your week days, chosen ModeCard, body notes, pinned split or check-in context, your question text, and a photo only if you attached one. Contacts, precise location, and Apple Health data are not sent. Requests go to DeepSeek at api.deepseek.com and are handled under DeepSeek's privacy policy. AI output can be incomplete or wrong; review a drafted split before you pin it.

6. Network access and third parties

Apart from optional DeepSeek turns, Apple purchase processing, and Adjust measurement described above, RackWeek may load its published Privacy Policy, User Agreement, and Support Policy over HTTPS. We do not sell your personal information. The training board stays usable offline.

7. Retention, deletion, and security

On-device records remain until you delete them in the app or delete RackWeek. Data sent to DeepSeek or Adjust is retained by those providers under their own policies. Purchase records are kept by Apple and as needed to deliver and confirm orders. RackWeek uses HTTPS for network requests. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

8. Training boundary and children

RackWeek is a weekly training planner for adults who already train. It is not medical advice, physical therapy, or certified personal training. RackWeek is not directed to children and is not a Kids Category app.

9. Changes

We may update this policy when RackWeek changes. Material updates will change the Updated date at the top of this page.
